| After X turned into a creepy, ever-watching AI hellscape, I had to start looking for alternatives… And so far, BlueSky is the only Twitter-like place where I prefer to be present. It’s easier to be seen on this platform thanks to the absence of sophisticated feed algorithms, however low moderation on the part of the administration requires a lot of blacklisting on my own part. A lot of artists moved there and so did I. No regrets so far! |

| Advertised to me as the best new alternative to DeviantArt, Pixiv is a popular Japanese art platform that hosts lots and lots of anime-style drawings and paintings! No other place could be more soothing for me… I grew up watching anime, after all! Now I’m a happy member of that community. Maybe I’ll even learn Japanese one day 😊 |
