Welcome to the vibrant, eerie, and mysterious world of Ergimott!
It is home to a multitude of intelligent (and not so much) creatures, with every clan fighting for its own truth and way of life! There are those who fight for the Ultimate Truth, and there are those who believe that the world is a personal creation of each individual… But the essence remains the same: an objective, sometimes terrifying, yet vivid and captivating reality where fantastical emotions, mystical adventures, and the thirst to live by the call of the heart intertwine!
Of course, hearts come in many varieties. Black, Pure, Undead, and Radiant! Perhaps there are even more types of hearts, which will surely be explored in time. In our strict world, entangled in rigid, sometimes senseless rules, understanding and freeing your heart, letting it burn with a supernatural fire, is quite a difficult task. I hope that by visiting my world, you will be able to find what is close to your heart and, clinging to this ray of hope, escape from your personal Hell of paralyzing doubts!
Within the ghostly, magical realms of Ergimott, many creatures dwell. Here I will describe the most well-studied among them:
Fairies
The same as aliens. They are often associated with the afterlife, werewolves, natural spirits, and other unknown entities that generally resemble humans but possess animal or alien features. They can change their appearance and become invisible, and they possess magic or magical items. They can either help or harm – depends on the specific fairy. The Haar divide them onto friendly and unfriendly toward humans. You can establish friendly relations with the friendly ones, while you should stay far away from the unfriendly.
Blood Fairies
Creatures observed feeding on fresh blood. This term is often used to refer to tribes descended from the Ervinnes and the Vieches. Both of these races are predators who hunt for blood and raw meat, and sometimes for farmers’ milk. Being very similar physically, they have essentially become one people, in whose blood rages the memory of a lost home and the need to defend their new one with all their might. Combining the ability to shapeshift with the skill to live in both worlds simultaneously, the blood fairies have become the subjects of terrifying legends and misinterpretations, leading to a series of unpleasant conflicts with the Haar.
Beltarr
Beings born within the Great Machine. According to legend, their God was a massive, iron world. Beltarr were perfectly symmetrical beings, devoid of even a single hair. They were born inside a colossal mechanism and possessed no sexual characteristics. The philosophy of this species deifies machines and considers them the key to godlike immortality and ultimate enlightenment.
Ervinnes
The aliens from the planet Nurrk. On their home planet, they were known as the “Generation of the End,” having emerged from the combination of all of Nurrk’s most successful races. The gentle Limmes and the fearsome Burras, the Terlle from the black forests and the Vidannas from the distant mountains – all became one. Arrogant because of their technological achievements, they severed their ties with Mother Nature, and by the time they came to their senses and fully switched to biotechnology, it was already too late. Nurrk was dying, dragging their civilization down with it. The forests vanished, the world turned into a black desert, and the Ervinnes retreated underground, where they built their great cities. Their final achievement was the production of living starships, aboard which the last survivors left Nurrk with broken hearts and souls blackened by grief…
Vieches
The humanoids that originated on Earth in deep caves. A Vieche, as is customary, possesses a dual nature. One is tied to the harsh realities of the physical world and the survival of the species, while the other is tied to life in the realms of Chaos. While the other species mentioned here prefer to be fully present in either the physical or the spiritual world, the Vieches live in both simultaneously, and both of their hearts are capable of acting independently in the world corresponding to each of them. When the Vieches sleep, the resting side witnesses the life of the waking side. Due to their dual nature, the Vieches possess advanced foresight, as physical events in the worlds of Chaos are visible from afar. Enlightened individuals are aware of their own duality and use their qualities to achieve the desired outcome.
Viechevinnes and Erveches
Both these terms describe hybrids born of mixed marriages between Ervinnes and Vieches. This distinction is entirely optional and depends on the individual wishing to emphasize their mixed heritage. Modern Ervinnes and Vieches are already quite distant from their ancestors, as they are all Viechevinnes; however, depending on which traits predominate in them, they are called either Ervinnes or Vieches.
Viechaar
Also known as vurdalaks, they are the offspring of Vieches and Haar. Obeying their nature, they possess an increased thirst for blood, but do not possess the full range of natural abilities to obtain it. At the same time, their hybrid stomachs are quite capable of digesting plant-based food, making them just as omnivorous as the Haar.
Elyarr
The same as dark elves, descendants of the Ervinnes and the Haar. Due to a certain mutation, they can be either very tall or very short, smaller than the Ervinnes. Like the Viechaar, they experience a thirst for blood but are able to suppress it, which leads to chronic illnesses.
Kimaras
Vampires created from the Haar by introducing the Blue Visukha into their blood. A colony of Visukha completely entangles the body from within and alters it according to pre-programmed blueprints. Being more resilient to extreme conditions, Kimaras are used as soldiers or bodyguards. Their population is decimated by the end of wars, since the Blood Fairies have their own, ordinary soldiers, known as the Long Ones.
Haar
The primary race of planet Earth. Like the Ervinnes, they represent the “Generation of the End” of their home planet, embodying a multitude of different bloodlines. Because of their versatility, humans have become an excellent platform for the incarnation of alien souls on Earth, so when talking to a person, you never know if they’re from here. There are those who have lived many lifetimes on our planet and, in principle, understand how things work… But invasions by aliens do happen. Often because a planet somewhere nearby has died, and they simply have nowhere else to go – hence the uniqueness of the human race as a universal platform, where the physical body recedes into the background and more abstract ideas about existence come to the fore. When a person loses interest in the abstract and retreats entirely into the physical, their inner balance is disrupted, and they begin to be torn apart by the internal conflicts of their own, very mixed blood. Therefore, humanity can only be happy in a more abstract-oriented society, which is what religions were meant for. However, due to an overemphasis on intellectualism, humanity has swung to the other extreme – nihilism – and lost its connection with Mother Nature, which now threatens the complete destruction of their once-flourishing civilization. The Haar, more than anyone else, must maintain balance in all matters, for deviation from it threatens social decay and mass destruction.
