For a long time, I’ve been struggling with what I should look like… As a person coming from the generation of first active internet users, I need an image that represents me as best as possible. I’ve tried many shapes… including fairy hedgehogs, cats, etc. But something always felt off. I thought that I nailed it with Alytta, but I didn’t. Enter Alva Anna. This image is based on my self-perception and my physical body. Yes, physical body is something I tended to ignore, leading me into ghostly states I can not wish upon anyone… Identity crisis may sound like a joke, but it isn’t. It’s actually quite painful…
Alva is an artist and a Spirit who doesn’t really have a permanent form. She travels between worlds to learn something new about them, then attempts to build her own. Lifetime after lifetime, she visits different planets and places, living different scenarios that interest her, and through trial and error, her soul grows and becomes wiser. Right now she’s very interested in making her own world and in conjunction with this project, she chose to present herself to other creative souls as a blood fairy from distant stars.
The above description is pretty close to the one I used to have years ago when presenting myself as Someone the Demon, though I used to be known as Sonya L.S. – a yellow hedgechidna fashioned after characters from “Sonic the hedgehog” video game series. Coming back to a more spiritual description soothes my soul, which is good.
