Dr. Claw

Phew! That was a mess ಠ_ಠ Tried the Japanese “1-2-3 Shadow” technique on this one and I’m not very happy with the results… Yes, I tried. I actually started it maybe 1,5 months ago, then abandoned it just because it wouldn’t come together to my expectations… I think I’m really bad at adopting other people’s techniques when precise instructions are involved, because I’m mostly self-taught and used to figure out a lot of stuff on my own, peeking into art books from time to time to get a better idea of how the drawing process is usually done. My process is way more chaotic than just 1-2-3… I don’t know if I’ll attempt doing this technique again, but it definitely requires a different workflow from what I usually do.

For instance, the whole of lineart being on the same layer gave me a terrible headache. I’d need to do each line color on a separate layer to avoid that in the future. I know the colored line is not in the “1-2-3 Shadow” technique, but that’s just something I usually do. Never the less, even though it’s not what I expected, I still think the result is at least decent enough… I think. Could be worse 🤷‍♀️

Anyway… This is Dr. Claw :3 A guy who lives in the Timeless and a Fairy Teacher. He’s very wise and serious, a Master of Shadows. He can heal you or kill you, depends on what he sees fits. People who can even touch the realm of the Timeless are tested many times for malice, and you will only survive if your intensions upon entering were pure.
