These are old, but still fun to share! Before I got into video games, I was a huge fan of pokemon anime and Pokemon Trading Card game specifically. I tried to save up pocket money to buy another card pack when I saw it. Those were truly mysterious times, when I had to walk around the city a lot and look for different card packs in different newspaper booths.
The first pokemon OC I made was Kibotogy I later renamed into Kibocub. Initially, it was supposed to be a hybrid of Nidoran and Pikachu, but the design evolved over time to include wings. I also added two evolutions to it later and this design still remains one of my favorites :3
Second only to Kibomon was the hypnotic cat Pokemon I designed around the same time. I didn’t give it a name, but its main feature was hypnotic eyes that only open when it evolves the second time.
