| Why I Drew This | I wanted to imagine more details about the game’s story |
I played this game many-many years ago, and this artwork is quite old as well… But I’m still willing to share it with the world. In “Drawn to Life”, Wilfre is a respected member of raposan society, who, never the less, was too curious about the Book of Life. He was convinced he can do something awesome with it… so he snuck into the Hall of Creation at night to try out all of his wonderful theories. However, his mind wasn’t able to come up with anything useful and he spawned a lot of shadowy creatures instead, while him touching with the unknown forces of this magnitude corrupted himself as well.
Tragically enough, Wilfre, not being able to truly create, could only destroy, and seemed to have become absolutely obsessed with this idea. Getting his hands on the Book of Life, he continued destroying the world that once was his home…
This was a small and cute game, but I still liked how it was asking eternal questions… So the artwork I did was in appreciation of my experience with it.
