It stirs memories in my heart! I drew this insert for a box of Dreamcast discs that I carried with me to the computer club, where for 2 hours on Sunday I could immerse myself in the magical world of Sonic! The club was located in the basement, but it was more or less cozy and always had a characteristic smell of discs and old TVs. In addition, the players always attracted spectators, who were sometimes shooed away by the owners of the club if they suddenly began to talk too loudly, or prevented players from coming to their seats, or leaving the club.

The biggest celebration opportunity for me in those days was to play for longer. So when I was offered a small job – cover the doors of the club in a painting – I eagerly agreed and asked for 6 hours of gaming on a Dreamcast console as a reward. I don’t remember if I was able to sit out all 6 hours, but I played for a long time ’till I got a headache, gave up and went home… 😅
