Having drawn a bit in the original style for Crash Bandicoot, I came to the conclusion that I don’t like it. Then the idea to redesign everything into anime style ripened, based on old concepts for the game (not on 3D models). Needless to say, I am a big fan of anime aesthetics. It is unique in its own way and represents a whole visual language. However, the variety is always good, and I tried not to make this redesign completely cliche. The main task was to add harmony and beauty where it was clearly lacking. Even to villains.
I loved it and everyone who has ever added it to their favorites loved it too. I remember that some completely unknown to me website even reposted this picture, and since they honestly identified me as the author, I did not complain on them to take it down. It was a pleasure to receive such attention 😊
