When Sonic X first appeared on my radar, I was thrilled. I watched the pilot and thought “Wow! What an adaptation! If everything is so beautiful, I am all for it!”… But only that first episode was beautiful. The rest were very mediocre in both execution and content. The only season I enjoyed was the third. The story of Cosmo and her world has been quite interesting, and I’d like to see more of something as original over the past two seasons. But as always, the artists were bound by license restrictions, which always clips the wings of creative staff in any studio.
Despite the fact that Cosmo is very similar to another, earlier character called Lumina, her story pleased me, in appreciation of which I drew this picture.
