Back in those days when I was only starting to get to know the worlds of Sonic, Nights existed for me exclusively as a part of the casino level from “Sonic Adventure”, and I could only see her head. Everything else was a mystery to me, and given the quality of the textures in the version I played as a child, it wasn’t very realistic for me to comprehend that the casino posters featured the same Nights character. Then I imagined that Nights was a Card Master, and drew her in that role. Learning years later that Nights had a whole separate game was a big surprise for me, and it wasn’t even a “she,” but rather a “he” – an ageless, eternal child with no physical body, and essentially a Peter Pan-like character.
