Notes | I was struck to the core by the antics of my pet… 😂 |
When my cat was a kitten, we bought her a drinking fountain. It was the thing that lured her out of the basket I brought her home in for the first time, and she started drinking water out of it without hesitation. Later, she would climb it whole to drink water in the position of a cat traceur, and then she stopped fitting on this fountain. But there was another kind of fun – she became interested in what the fountain had inside, and began to disassemble it regularly, clawing at the disc filter at the bottom with digging movements of the paw. What to do with it next, she did not know, and every time came under the door to my room to complain about the loss of drinking resources. No persuasion or retraining helped.
In the end, we bought her a completely different fountain that had a screw-on lid. Thus, she could no longer disassemble the fountain and there was significantly less headache in my life ever since.
