The picture was created in a rather depressed state of mind. We all were teenagers once, and many of us experienced conflicting emotions while growing up… I am no exception, but in my case everything was complicated by a difficult family situation, and that situation oftentimes left me alone with my negative thoughts and silly assumptions, from which I tried to hide in the fantasy worlds of Sonic the Hedgehog with all my might. Many years later I can summarise that it didn’t help. I should have started solving my problems back then, but on the other hand, I had no experience and there was no one to advise me… In the end, I had to make up my own mind. Anyway, what happened – has happened. I still have this drawing as a memory of that time. I look at it sometimes and remember my youthful naivety, and realise that no generation can avoid it, so I try to treat the youth with understanding.
